  1. Wax or used candles
  2. Pre-waxed candle
  3. Glass containers
  4. Crayons
  5. Oil
  6. Saucepan
  7. Thread
  8. Gas/ Stove
  9. Scissor
  10. Perfume

Method to make your own scented candles at home

  1. Clean your glass container and make sure it is dry.
  2. To make the candle worth for use, you have to add candlewicks right. To keep it in perfect manner you can simply use a pencil to hold these wicks in correct order as shown in the picture below.
  3. The most important thing that you all have to focus on is the measurement of the wax/ candle that you need to make these personalized scented candles.
  4. These are only one formula to know the measurement.
  5. Size of your glass container= 2 ( wax/ candles used)
  6. Measure your glass containers that you want to use and then accordingly take the candle for making it perfect without wastage.
  7. Now after measuring, it is a time for melting these wax strips/ old candles that you going to use.
  8. Take a sauce pan.
  9. Put some water in it and let it boil for 1 minute.
  10. Take an oven free glass container that can easily be put on the stove inside the saucepan.
  11. Make sure that the glass container that you are using must be heat resistant.
  12. Make sure that the level of the water in the sauce pan is low enough and it won’t come inside the glass containers when it starts boiling.
  13. When wax start to heat up, turn the stove to the medium flame and stir with the metal spoon
  14. Now it is a time to add colors.
  15. Take few crayons that we usually use in our childhood.
  16. You can be creative, choose your favorite colors. If you are going to make scented candles for your husband, make it red. If you making it for your boss, make it yellow or blue. You can use any color.
  17. Make sure the colors you use for candles must be NON toxic
  18. Now it is a time to add scents
  19. You can use any fragrance- chocolate, romantic fantasy, vanilla essence or simply use your doe bottle and pour a little bit in the candle wax.
  20. Now it is time to pour the liquid into your glass container. Make sure you are pouring it slowly and placing it somewhere safe.
  21. Keep the glass containers untouched for 4-5 hours
  22. Always keep your scented candles in room temperature to solidify to avoid cracks.
