- Saucepan
- Water
- A glass container of wax melting
- Double boiler
- Stove
- Metal spoon for stirring purpose
- Crayon
- Scent or perfume
- Zinc wicks
- Things for decorations
- Candle molds

Step by Step Process for making floating candles at home
- Take a saucepan and fill it will little water.
- Put a glass container inside the saucepan
- Make sure the water level is low and it doesn’t come in the glass containers during the boil.
- Put some candle wax inside the glass containers
- Let it boil for a few minutes
- With the help of metal spoon, stir the mixture at regular interval
- Add crayons or color dye to add color to your candles.
- You can use any colors but make sure they are non toxic and healthy to breathe in when you use them later.
- Brighter colors are always advisable for better appeal.
- Now turn off the flame and add perfume. You can add 1/3 spoon of the perfume inside the candle to give it a fragrance when it blow.
- Now place a zinc wick in the molds.
- You can place the wick with the use of pencils.
- Make sure you use zinc wick for better durability and burning.
- You can use any molds of any shape and designs. There are many molds available in market like in stars shape, rose shape, heart shape etc.
- Now slowly pour the liquid in the mold and set it for 4-5 hours.
